Returning Student Online Registration

Registration can be completed 100% online, but we welcome you to attend our on-site registration days to complete registration if needed/preferred.

  1. Login to PowerSchool Parent Portal

  2. Navigate to "Student Forms" and select "Enrollment"

  3. Fill out/update any forms marked “Not Started”

Medical forms required for K & 6th grade. Medical Forms

To prove residency you will be asked to provide the following: 

Column 1 (One Document Needed)                                

  • Driver's license

  • State ID

  • Picture ID from a foreign consulate

Column 2 (One Document Needed)

  • Original Copy of lease

  • Mortgage Papers/Current payment book/deed

  • Letter of residence (affidavit notarized)

Column 3 and 4 (One Document Needed) Must Display District 156 address and less than 30 days old

  • Gas Bill

  • Bank Statement

  • Credit Card Statement

  • Electric Bill

  • Public Aid Card

  • Water/Sewer/Trash Bill

  • Phone Bill

  • Cable Bill

  • Voter Registration Card

  • Vehicle Registration

Frequently Asked Questions

What documents are required for registration?

  • Proof of residency within our school district boundaries is required. Lincoln 156 Boundaries

  • Student’s Birth Certificate

  • State of Illinois Certificate of Child Health Examination and/or Immunization Records (required for all New Students, and all PreK, Kindergarten, and 6th grade students)

  • Illinois State Board of Education Student Transfer Form (from previous school) and/or Last Report Card (if transferring from out-of-state)

What can I do if I have forgotten my password?

  • Go to the Parent Portal and select “forgot username/password.” The reset instructions will be sent to the email that we have on file. If you no longer have access to this email account, please contact the main office.  LINK INFO

What if I do not have a way to upload my documents?

  • Please complete filling out all the required registration forms.  Contact the main office and someone can assist you with your document attachments.

How can I register if I do not have internet access?

  • We will be offering on-site open registration days throughout the Spring and Summer.  Please plan to attend or contact the main office to make an appointment for an alternative time.
