Lincoln Elementary School District 156's Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department  is dedicated to quality instruction and learning opportunities for all students. This department supports teachers in continuous improvement of their knowledge and skills. The main goal of this department is to support teachers in delivering rigorous, Common Core Standards aligned curricula that emphasizes life and career skills; learning and innovation skills; information, media and technology skills, as well as cognitive and social skills that will enable our students to deal with complex challenges and succeed in the 21st century. Our curricula also incorporates state of the art technology tools and instruction to support the learning process and meet the unique learning styles of all students. Through technology investment, we are developing new programs that support teaching and learning and connecting with students in ways that are more meaningful and familiar to them.  Additionally, the department coordinates resources, programs, and support services to meet the needs of all students.
