Students will get to try out different band instruments and find the one that’s the best fit! We’ll also help families explore instrument rental options.

Lincoln Flyers Students Experience the Thrill of Flight
Several Lincoln Elementary students participated in the Young Eagles Rally and Pancake Breakfast at Bult Field Airport in Monee on Saturday, June 20. Hosted by EAA Chapter 260, the Young Eagles program offers free airplane rides to children ages 8–17 and encourages young people to explore aviation and aerospace opportunities.
Students toured aircraft, met volunteer pilots, learned about aviation history, and experienced flight in a small general aviation airplane. Students attending included Asher Dempsey, Levi Jones, Adiylnn Garcia, and Erica Barraza.
This opportunity was coordinated through Lincoln Flyers STEM Club, led by Mrs. Alkhatib, as part of the school's ongoing efforts to provide students with authentic STEM learning experiences beyond the classroom. Programs like Young Eagles help inspire the next generation of pilots, engineers, and innovators by giving students a firsthand look at the world of aviation.
We are excited to continue expanding Lincoln Flyers next school year and encourage interested students to join us as we explore the science and technology of flight. The sky is not the limit - it's just the beginning! ✈️

Summer is almost here, and we are excited to share our Summer Enrichment Programs along with the corresponding grade levels for participation. Families can simply scan the QR code or use the link on the flyer to access the sign-up form and learn more about each opportunity.
We encourage families to review the options and register as soon as possible, as some programs have limited availability. We look forward to a summer filled with learning, enrichment, creativity, and fun.
