Join our town hall event to fix the school funding problem in Illinois

School funding town hall to take place in Chicago Heights on May 9

You are invited to Fix the Formula Illinois’ Town Hall event, in partnership with South Cook Intermediate Service Center, on May 9, 6-8 p.m., 253 West Joe Orr Road, in Chicago Heights. The event will feature the impacts of inequitable and inadequate school funding and include a presentation by Dr. Michael Jacoby, Executive Director, Illinois Association of School Business Officials, on the evidence-based funding model. Please join your fellow education advocates in the fight for fair school funding in Illinois!

“Fix the Formula Illinois” is a collective effort that fights for fair school funding in Illinois. Illinois state government has the responsibility to provide adequate and equitable funding in order to give students the quality education they deserve. We must come together to urge our elected officials to find a fair funding solution this spring.
